GIVE LIFE: Know Christ and Make Him Known!
Our vision was born out of 1st Corinthians 15:45 which states, “Thus it is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living being’; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” Jesus Christ is the last Adam, the resurrected Life-Giver who came to abolish sin and death. And so our vision is to breathe life into our world by multiplying disciples who are filled with His Life-Giving Spirit and committed to loving God and neighbor. In short, our vision is to GIVE LIFE.
GIVE LIFE in Word
We envision God raising up an army of soldiers who will be bold agents of life in our culture of death. We envision families practicing daily family worship in their homes and raising up a generation of bold disciples of Christ. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God for salvation and hence is our primary weapon for destroying the works of death in our world. We understand that what the world really needs is a true, enduring hope, and that is only found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In Christ we have the ultimate remedy for death and a solid hope for eternal life. Because He lives, so will we.
GIVE LIFE in Deed
However, we are also committed to giving life by practical expressions of love and compassion to our neighbors. We envision a movement of life-giving disciples who love their neighbors as themselves. Talking the talk, without walking the walk is as useless as telling a homeless man to stay warm and walking away, when you have an extra blanket right in your hand. Faith without works is dead, and so we seek to show our faith by our works in keeping with Scripture.
Our vision is not unique or new, but is the same vision that God has been gradually fulfilling since the fall of man, to restore life the way it was intended to be lived; limitless and eternal!
