Domestic Missionary Internship

Duration: 1 Year
Rate: $500/Month

*with potential for increase in both duration and pay

Life-Giver Church is seeking to hire an intern who is interested in local missions.

The Domestic Missionary Internship is designed to raised up, teach and equip an individual to live as a domestic, local missionary in their community. The goal of the internship is to make disciples to the end that the Kingdom of God would grow through Church Planting.

Qualifications:
The candidate must have a credible Christian witness and be a born again Christian with a gifting and evident passion for reaching the lost. He must live consistent with the Gospel of Christ which means:

  • Abstaining from drunkenness,
  • Abstaining from all illicit drug use (Including Marijuana)
  • Abstaining from sexual immorality including, fornication (Sex outside of marriage), homosexuality, adultery, pornography use or any sexual activity outside a one man, one woman marriage,
  • Abstaining from unGodly gain (Including but not limited to gambling and fraud)
  • Commit to the local church
  • And obeying the law of the Lord in all things.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Being a lead contributor in the evangelistic campaigns of Life-Giver Church
  • Helping with setup on Sunday mornings,
  • Participating in Church programs/Small Groups and being a contributing member,
  • Committing to theological growth in your personal life and go through our Church Planting Pipeline program (The CPP is a free seminary level practical missionary education through the North American Mission Board),
  • Be involved in collaborative missions programs in the city,
  • Preach/learn to Preach Sermons
  • Leading Worship is a bonus skill and not a required responsibility*

  • Be on time,
  • Be teachable,
  • Be a problem solver, not an excuse maker,
  • Be reliable,
  • Take initiative.
